COVID-19: Checking in with children and young people

The world has changed a lot because of COVID-19, and The Commission for Children and Young People wants to hear from you about how you’re going.

Our job is to promote the safety, wellbeing and rights of children and young people in Victoria. One of the ways we do this is by talking to the government and organisations about how they can best support you and keep you safe. Hearing directly from you will help us do this.
What you tell us will help other young people, especially those who need support from the government and organisations.

What happens to what you tell us?
We may share what you tell us:
  • with the government to show them where they could be doing a better job in supporting and keeping young people safe
  • in public documents or presentations to help others understand young people’s experiences.
We will never use your name or any details that could identify you.

If you tell us about someone hurting you or breaking the law, we will share this with relevant authorities.

How to take part
This survey will take around 10 minutes.
How much you say is up to you.
  • You don’t have to answer every question.
  • Only the questions you answer will be recorded.
  • It’s ok to ask a parent, carer or another trusted adult for help or support.
  • Your answers will be private and anonymous, and you can stop at any time.
