You are notified that by completing this form, the World Justice Project (WJP) is collecting certain data for you to participate in a research exercise measuring justice, governance, and rule of law in all Members States of the European Union (EU).
The data collected in this form includes full name to address you properly, email address to contact you about the research project, organization, job title, and website to vet your qualifications, country and region to target results based on our subnational level of analysis, and preferred language to make it easier to communicate with you. The data collected in the sign-up form will be used to contact you, if necessary, when the data collection process starts in early 2023. We will send you an invitation to the email address you provided to participate in our surveys. If you do not meet our requirements, we will not upload your data to our database and we will permanently delete all personal information collected on the form.
WJP implements strict guidelines regarding the confidentiality of the data gathered and the privacy of the respondents. All data you provide in this form will only be used for research purposes and for future communication about the surveys. At this time, your name is retained within WJP to avoid duplicate data entries. Once data collection starts in early 2023, you will be given the choice to either be publicly acknowledged (meaning your name and organization will be published as a contributing expert), OR you can select to be an anonymous contributor (meaning your name will not be published in any WJP materials and it will not be made known in any way). In all cases, your individual responses will remain strictly confidential. Responses are aggregated preceding any statistical analysis or reporting of results to ensure that individual responses cannot be ascertained nor identified as belonging to you.
WJP may also use this data to comply with its legal obligations. Data records will be held securely and will be accessed by those who have a legitimate WJP-related business need to access them. Data records will be maintained for the duration of your relationship with WJP.
For additional information, to request access to a copy of your personal data, or to request certain data be removed or corrected, you may contact a member of our team at eu-ruleoflaw@worldjusticeproject.org, or alternatively at wjp@worldjusticeproject.org.
If your data protection related questions or concerns are not addressed, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority in the EU.
