Introduction

The Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), College of Nursing (CoN) provides bilingual, culturally sensitive training, education, and support for healthcare providers, community organizations, caregivers, and older adults in the Paso del Norte region. Our mission is to strengthen the geriatric workforce and improve health outcomes for older adults, including those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This form allows individuals, organizations, and community partners to request GWEP services, such as presentations, training sessions, educational materials, technical assistance, or participation in age-friendly and dementia-friendly initiatives.
