The City of Mobile’s Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Office of Violence Prevention, is launching the Harmon Community Access Resources Education and Support (CARES) Program, a summer initiative designed to engage and inspire youth through experiential learning opportunities and positive community connections.
The Harmon CARES Program is calling on local businesses, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, tradespeople, and community members to invest just one hour this summer to help expose young people to new opportunities, careers, skills, and life experiences.
Through hands-on activities, mentorship, demonstrations, workshops, and career exposure, the program aims to provide youth with meaningful experiences that encourage growth, confidence, and positive decision-making.
