Waterways are a vital part of our region’s environment, culture, and way of life. Across North Central Victoria, government agencies, Traditional Owners, local groups and recreational water users are coming together to shape a new plan for the protection and future management of our waterways (rivers, creeks and wetlands). The strategy will guide how we maintain and improve the condition (health) of our waterways, so they continue to provide environmental, cultural, social and economic benefits for all Victorians.
As part of renewing the North Central Waterway Strategy, we’re gathering stories and perspectives from across the community to help build a shared understanding of how waterways are experienced, appreciated and imagined. This survey invites you to reflect on your connection to waterways, the changes you’ve seen and your hopes for the future. We want to hear from you, the people who live near, visit, care for and value these waterways.
This survey should take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
