e-Shop Builder's Bootcamp Application

Application Program Description

Willamette Workforce Partnership (WWP) is the local workforce development board in Linn, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties. We bridge the gap between employers, community organizations, and Job Seekers (Adult and Youth) to build a robust workforce pipeline and ensure economic vitality across the region. Willamette Workforce Partnership works with businesses and a range of educational service providers to ensure that the region’s workforce meets the needs of today’s employers.

E-Shop Builder's Bootcamp presents a unique opportunity for businesses to enhance their business skills and receive technical support. This workshop is open to creatives, food vendors, farmers, or any other type of business who is interested in growing their business online. This initiative is funded by the Portland General Electric (PGE) Foundation to enrich the quality of life for Oregonians. As such, this project was specifically designed for under-resourced and businesses to equip them with the knowledge and resources needed to boost their digital presence and grow their businesses.

Our business learning program, led by local business experts, will focus on sharing strategies on increasing revenue, fostering business growth, and expanding into the world of e-commerce. These seasoned professionals will provide strategic business guidance and mentorship to all participating businesses. By the end of the program, each participant will have a comprehensive plan for expanding their business online, complete with a thorough assessment of the advantages, challenges, and potential hurdles. Mentors will evaluate and provide constructive feedback on each business's strategy, ensuring that it aligns with their business goals and market dynamics. This program also encourages networking and mutual support among participants, fostering a collaborative and empowering learning environment.

Ten (10) businesses will receive special guidance, information, and resources to kickstart their e-commerce journey and overcome entry barriers developing their business and brand.
