2024 Young Adult Substance Use Survey: Nassau County

You are being asked to take part in a survey about alcohol and other substance use related behaviors and attitudes. The purpose of the survey is to help us improve local substance use prevention programs in Nassau County. The survey is limited to individuals between 18 and 25 years old.

If you previously completed this survey within the past 6 months, please do not complete it again.
  • Taking this survey is completely voluntary. You may skip any questions that you do not want to answer or exit the survey at any time.
  • All information you provide is confidential and we do not ask for names. 
  • No individual data is ever reported, only aggregate data.
  • The approximate length of time to complete this survey is 10 to 15 minutes.
There are no known direct benefits to you, although the data may benefit community substance misuse prevention programming. There is the risk that you may experience discomfort in answering some of the questions. There are resources for you if you would like to talk to someone about substance use. At the end of the survey, if you wish to be entered into our drawing for a $25 Amazon, Chipotle, or Starbucks gift card, you will be automatically redirected to another survey to provide your contact information. Your answers in this survey cannot be connected to your contact information. Drawing will take place on April 19th.
