Youth Wage Grant 2022-2023

Basic Information

Willamette Workforce Partnership is offering reimbursement of $5 per hour for small businesses located in Linn, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties who employ first-time youth workers between April 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022.  Employers may receive reimbursement for up to 4 youth workers and a total of $6,000. 

How to Apply?
To apply for the grant, please fill out the required information below. You will be asked to upload your Youth Employment Certificate, proof of worker's compensation insurance, and Form W-9 (rev. Oct 2018) into this application. Applications that fail to comply with all prescribed requirements or are incomplete will not be awarded.  Not all applicants will be awarded.

1. This grant is only available to business' with primary principle of operations located in Linn, Marion, Polk, Yamhill Counties, Oregon.  Using the list below, please identify which county your business' primary principle of operation is located in.  *This question is required.

To be eligible for the Youth Wage Grant program, applicant businesses must comply with the following: 

  • Be based in Marion County;
  • Not employ more than 35 employees;
  • Can provide a copy of a valid annual Youth Employment Certificate from the Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI);
  • Can provide a copy of current worker's compensation insurance; 
  • Will employ a youth at least 14 years of age, but not older than 17, who is a resident of Marion County, Oregon;
  • Will provide documentation showing the employed youth performed work between April 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022;
  • Allow a representative of Willamette Workforce Partnership to visit your worksite to assure compliance with this grant.
