This survey will help your teachers and school learn how they can better support students in school. The survey asks about, for example, your views on how you approach learning in your core academic classes, how difficult or easy it is for you to think critically, and your opinions about your classroom environment.
Doing this survey is voluntary (this means it is up to you whether you do it or not). If you choose NOT to do the survey, it will not affect your grades in your classes. If you do not feel comfortable answering one of the questions or are unsure how to answer, please leave it blank.
All of you answers are anonymous. This means your teacher or principal will NOT see your answers; no one will be able to link you to your answers; and, for reporting purposes, your answers will be combined with those of all your classmates. Your school will use these combined answers to better understand students' learning experiences.
There are no right or wrong answers. The survey will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Please ask person administering the survey for help if you are not sure where or how to mark your answers to these questions. You may also ask for help if you are unable to read a question.
When responding to these questions please think about your core Academic Classes (English, Math, Science, and History) and what your learning is like in those classes. Please answer honestly so your teachers and school will know how best to support student learning.
