Prince William Area Disaster Fund - Proposal Submission Form

To be considered for the Prince William Area Disaster Fund's Round 2 funding request period, please submit your proposal by Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

The funding stipulations are listed below:

 
  • Funds are to be used for nonprofit organizations providing direct service and/or operational support of COVID-19 relief efforts to benefit the residents of Prince William County, The City of Manassas and/or The City of Manassas Park. 

  • Recipients will be chosen based on The Prince William Area Disaster Fund’s strategic objectives to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. This round's focus includes:

    • Housing and homelessness prevention

    • Feeding and hunger alleviation

 
  • Projects requesting funding should benefit underserved populations that have been neglected by traditional forms of assistance (i.e. households with disabled, low-income, minority and immigrant individuals, etc.).
 
  • Grant activities must be completed by April 30, 2021 and a brief outcome report detailing grant activities and expenditures submitted by May 3, 2021. 
 
  • Grant awards will typically not exceed $7,500.
